Noon Optimist Club of Terre Haute

Club# 05520

For the past eighty-eight years the Noon Optimist Club of Terre Haute, with your help, has clothed hundreds of children each year. Last year, we clothed almost 1,000 children. The cost of clothing one child, except for shoes, is approximately $60 – $80. Again, this year, the Club will plan to include a hoodie, in addition to the regular set of clothing provided for every child.

We have the names of hundreds of children who are sadly in need of new clothing. These children will be identified through their schools, and every precaution will be taken to be certain that a definite need exists for each child. We anticipate the need to be great again this year, due to economic issues.

Throughout the years, the “Clothe-A-Child” program has become recognized as a most worthy project. We feel that you will want to participate in this worthwhile project, as many others have in the past. Each year the cost of clothing continues to rise and the number of children increases, making it more challenging for our club to accomplish this goal, so we sincerely need your financial help.
